Our office takes pride in reading and listening to every message we receive from folks back home. This year, we wrote back to nearly 158,000 constituents, and spoke to another 9,000 of you on the phone.

First and foremost, our job is to serve the people of Massachusetts' Second Congressional District, and if I can't catch you at a town hall, a phone call or email is always the best way for me to hear about what matters to you most, and how we can serve you better.

I believe that government is meant to help people, and there's no better way for me and my team to serve you than to solve the specific challenges you're dealing with.

Whether it was tracking down lost social security checks, securing veterans' hard-earned benefits, assisting with Medicare claims, getting hungry folks nutrition assistance, or even helping you get your passport—my team and I made sure we did all we can to make your life just a little bit easier in 2025.

In 2025, I sponsored or cosponsored 386 bills and resolutions.

From legislation that would help end hunger in America, to bills that kick corporate money out of politics, to measures that would stop insurance premiums from skyrocketing, to resolutions that would put an end to illegal hostilities against Venezuela, I've fought for legislation that improves the lives of folks right here in our community.

As we enter 2026, my focus is clear: make life more affordable for you and your family and bring down costs on everything from healthcare and housing to food and utilities.
