Republicans in Congress want to pass a budget that does nothing to address skyrocketing healthcare costs. They've left Washington and don't care about the government shutdown because they have concierge medicine and insurance CEOs on speed dial. They’re fine with people paying more as long as their billionaire friends keep making record profits.
That is what this budget fight is all about. And I’ll tell you right now: I will not vote for a plan that raises health care costs for working people in Massachusetts.
Health care is a human right. And I want you to know that I will fight with everything I have to make sure every person in Massachusetts—and in America—can access the care they need, when they need it, without going bankrupt.
So if you've gotten a notice about your premium increase, I want to hear from you. Your stories help me fight harder in Washington.
Sincerely,
