There's an old saying: we have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak.

I'm proud to serve as your representative in Washington. I believe my job as a Member of Congress is not just to give speeches or advocate for bills, but to listen to and engage directly with the people I work for.

So I'm asking for your advice—what issues do your and your family care about, what should I be working on in Washington, and how best can I communicate with you about what I'm doing?

I announced American Rescue Plan support for the Worcester Regional Food Hub. The American Rescue Plan was President Biden’s first major piece of legislation to help America rebound from COVID-19. I was proud to vote yes. And as Chair of the Rules Committee, I worked to make sure it included robust support for local funding of initiatives like the Worcester Regional Food Hub—an incredible project to help farmers, promote entrepreneurship, and increase access to nutritious food.

My team and I announced that last year we helped to secure nearly a billion dollars for the Second Congressional District in American Rescue Plan tax cuts, grants, and other federal funding.

I voted yes on a bipartisan bill to automatically enroll all eligible veterans into VA healthcare services as they transition out of the military so they do not fall through the cracks.

To me, being a Member of Congress is about helping people. From helping you cut through red tape with a federal agency to fighting on your behalf for laws that improve the quality of life for people in Massachusetts, I'm here for you.
