McGovern Statement on Passing of Sheriff John “Mike” Flynn

Today, Congressman Jim McGovern (MA-02) released the following statement on the passing of former Worcester County Sheriff, John “Mike” Flynn.

“Lisa and I are deeply saddened by the passing of our dear friend, Sheriff John “Mike” Flynn. He was a larger than life personality – with an even bigger heart. His devotion to public service and the common good is an example to us all. We loved him a lot and our prayers are with his family at this difficult time.”
