America’s 6-decade embargo of Cuba has been a disaster—not for the Cuban government, but for everyday Cubans: ❌Power grid collapsed 8x ❌Daily water shortages for 3 MILLION Cubans ❌Infant mortality rate doubled ❌Childhood cancer survival rates down. It’s Gaza in slow motion. Our Cold-War policy has failed for generations to do anything at all to help the Cuban people in their struggle for freedom and democracy. In fact, it’s done the exact opposite. Lift the embargo NOW!

Republicans have a new favorite talking point: calling anyone who disagrees with them a “communist” instead of addressing the affordability crisis—or the fascist MAGA takeover eating their own party alive. I’ll keep calling them out.

Republicans have “emergency funding” to pay for billionaires’ tax breaks and defense contractors’ blank checks… But when it comes to actually helping people, they start pinching pennies. So much for fiscal responsibility.
